'The Shakespeare City Walk' revisits Shakespeare's life on the North bank of the Thames (we do not go to the Globe Theatre because everybody tends to do that separately). If you want to find out about Shakespeare's life (including his friends, relationships etc), while visiting interesting hidden parts of London and seeing statues, monuments etc (many of which are scarcely known), then this is the Tour for you. Even better, your guide, Declan, is a former professional actor and will treat you to some of Shakespeare's speeches in the appropriate locations.

I am genuinely sorry about the "bunyons", Donyazzz, although I think any walk would have made them ache, since that's a medical condition that probably does not respond well to doing guided walks. I am glad you remembered the document in the church with Shakespeare's...More

Very informative tour! Declan provided us with lots of memorable and funny details about Shakespeare and his life - which the high school students of our group still remember. What I liked best about the tour was that Declan connected it to the As You...More

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. Declan, the tour guide really knows his stuff and was informative and interesting throughout the tour and we liked the fact that we didn’t go to the Globe as he quite rightly says ‘people do that anyway’...More

A two-hour walking tour to places where Shakespeare walked with an excellent and passionate tour guide who really knows about the man, Shakespeare. You will see places you would never locate on your own. Well worth it.
