I did the east end tour with this small company in early August and had a thoroughly enjoyable 4 hours getting to parts of the city that would be impossible to reach by other means. I would highly recommend this tour for visitors and indeed for natives - something particularly pleasurable about being able to cycle through the financial capital... More

Matthew is an incredible and down to earth guide who loves to share the secrets and cool bits of his town with a bunch of visitors on bikes! Geared up on great bikes we were escorted safely around London with fantastic commentary at each important stop. Weaving through the back streets and Harry Potter alleyways we managed to dodge around... More

Read great reviews of this tour here on tripAdvisor - and it certainly held up to its reputation. If you are a little familiar with London already and would like to see more, then this is a tour for you! Mathew, the guide, is loads of fun, full of energy, is super easy going, funny, informative, and best of all... More

My parents and I went on a cycle tour with Matt on Tuesday afternoon and it was excellent. Matt is an excellent tour guide he has clearly research both the route and the sights, consequently the trip is safe, informative and fun. We went on the 'East End' tour and i have to say even after having lived in London... More

I've been to London many times and this is one of the best things I've done. It was very interesting and you got to know places you've never found otherwise. Matthew is an excellent guide with lots of small stories about the places you pass.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Matthew is an excellent guide and takes you on a very interesting tour of the East End/South Bank. Being familiar with the West End sights we went for the East tour. Fascinating stuff. The mysterious ghost mall of Tobacco Dock, the serenity of the Postman's cemetery, and for me, the bizarre contrast you get when you cycle across... More

This was a really pleasant alternative to seeing London - Mathew (the guide) was extremely friendly & informative. He's a lovely guy with a sparkling personality. I haven't cycled for years but he gave me the confidence to cycle without feeling nervous or anxious. Before we started the tour, I was impressed with the way he explained all the health... More

Im not a really good fan of sightseeing when im visiting a place. id rather have local friends that show me their cities. i was reluctant to take this tour but it combined both exercise and tourist attractions so i did it. Matthew was the best guide ever, showing us uncommon places as well as those things you MUST see.... More

Matthew was an excellent guide, we were delighted at his knowledge of London and the way he navigated around the city keeping us safe and engaged. His gentle nature and steady pace make this the most enjoyable way to see what is the best city in the world. We all saw and heard new things about a city we know... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
