The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.

I don’t go into the arena itself but they had a wide range of food choices, suited for everyone and had great deals in n some really good stores in the outlet shopping area. As an f1 fan, I found the V12 racing store a great visit with some genuine signed prices and apparel from the teams. It was a very good visit. Wound come again. The only problem for me was that there was no Lego store, but I guess you can’t have one everywhere.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Took my daughter to see Doja as a special treat for finishing her GCSEs. We knew we had cheap seats, as that's all I could afford. However, the seats were so narrow and so high! We felt so unsafe, we were in tears. We spent a long time feeling overwhelmed at how high we were and how uncomfortable we were. We actually wanted to leave. My daughter spent a lot of the support act, clinging onto me, worried I'd fall. I'm a size 24, and I have NEVER has such an uncomfortable seat ANYWHERE! These seats are not standard size seats. The double-sided plastic cup holders make it even worse! We were at the end of the line and had to get up so many times. Each time, for me to sit back down again, I had to endure pain and embarrassment. Our tickets were £120.

Also, the paid for parking is a total SCAM!!!
I paid £27. No one at any time checked my booking. When we tried to exit, my ticket wasn't recognised at the barrier, do security had to let us out a different way.
I will NEVER come back to the O²!

Went for an IVE concert with VIP experience addon. I kept my expectations low since it was hosted at an O2 venue.

Even with low expecations, I still left the venue disappointed. Again they don't know how to run a concert even when they have an easy to manage Kpop crowd. Everything was rushed even though people lined up early, they failed to announce the artist before they came on stage meanwhile people were still not seated.

No one working there seems to know what they are doing, constantly power tripping harassing and misguiding the crowd. Half the staff look uninterested in being there and a complete waste of oxygen.

Apart from the abyssmal organisation and bottom of the barrel staff. The venue itself is quite big with plenty of facilities to use. However everything is overpriced as to be expected.

The sound was ok but ive heard better sound system from at my local club. There is a few decent things here, the lighting was decent and the venue has a functioning exit.

Overall a sad experience. Not even one of the most popular Kpop group can shine at this turd of a venue.

Saw Romesh Ranganathan Live at the O2 Arena a couple of weeks ago. Throughly enjoyable seeing him live. Absolutely hilarious. The actually facility nearby to the O2 has a shopping centre, restaurants, bars and a bowling alley nearby. All in all a great evening out and will definitely be doing again in the future.

Went to see Liam Gallagher and sat in section 402 row C. It is quite literally a death trap. Man behind us fell into the man next to us and because is so steep rolled over the 2 people in front sitting down and straight over the balcony. To cut a long story short the man who fell over the ledge was taken off in an ambulance, the man who fell into him was taken off by police and me and my friend spent half the show going in and out of the corridor giving statements to security. Missed half the show and was told a welfare team .

Serious safety incident

I am so angry with the O2. I've been before, and I loved the place. I took my wife for the first time last night, and it ended badly. It was supposed to be a fun date night, going to a 90s music disco event at the Indigo. I bought tickets and bought the extra "Lounge Pass," which is supposed to be like VIP. There were no signs on how to attend the party, nothing for Lounge Pass. It was supposed to start at 11 pm, but entry started at maybe 1145pm. When we got in, we asked about the Lounge Pass to multiple members of staff, and eventually, a manager told us there was no Lounge Pass for this event, and they were not sure why it was being sold. 50 Pounds wasted, and this was the main reason that convinced me to go to this event. I am going to request a full refund. Oh, but it gets better... we left the party around 2:30 AM, and as we were leaving through the O2 near the main exit, security was very rude and persistent that we leave. I was on my phone the whole time trying to get us an Uber, but somehow, I managed to leave the O2 building before my wife. and when I walked out the door and turned around, I saw my wife get knocked to the ground by O2 security. I was furious. Apparently, she got punched in the face by a security guard and then thrown to the ground. She is starting to show a black eye and has bruises on her elbow and knee. They would not let me back in. People around me were upset about it as well and said they had it recorded. I don't know what happened, but O2 security assaulted my wife. It wasn't until the police from outside arrived that they let me in. And guess what... O2 security disappeared. I asked for the police to do a criminal investigation and was told I would receive an email. I am going to follow up on this and file a lawsuit against the O2.

If your going for a sit down show please bare in mind that the seats are terrible. Not comfortable to sit In For 3 hours not to mention the width of the seats come like they are made for kids. Dont beleive theres an vip option 2 upgarde the comfoet of your seats because i defo would have bought. Also was not impressed that it's card only, you cannot pay with cash at all. Plus a coke with no alcohol was £6 odd wth. The show I went to see saved the experience but the venue could do with improvements.

For a few years now, I have attended many gigs at the venue and honestly, don’t don’t don’t bother. Terrible customer service in every Aspect and terrible sound and visual for quite decent acts. Please, if you have a choice…. Avoid the o2… they are rubbish.

I’ve visited the 02 3 times this year already and due to visit again at the end of June. Easy venue to access. Loads of restaurants to visit although can get busy. The toilet queues can get busy also so be prepared to wait if you want to go before entering the stadium itself. Good sound for concerts
