A great visit, we come to the area a lot and always said we would come here. Met at the door by an elderly gentleman who spoke fondly and very well about the history and the site including the cafe, which didn't disappoint! Beautiful location and tranquil gardens!

What a lovely place to visit. It was so uplifting and touching to read Lennon's words scattered throughout the well kept gardens. We left feeling peaceful & happy to have visited such a special place. The gift shop was full of reasonably priced memorabilia and there's a cafe and free parking too. All in all, a great, low cost attraction with a beautiful ambiance and helpful, welcoming staff. I'd highly recommend it!

Definitely worth a visit. The exhibition is truly fantastic. The way they use the audio technology is superb. You are truly immersed in the exhibition. The gardens are so spiritual, plus an easy walk. The food in the cafe, well priced and value for money.

We had a short stay in Liverpool mid week and decided to tour Strawberry Field. What an amazing experience - no only did it unveil a deep history but the interactive aids (device and headphones) gave sun an immersive experience. The staff were not only very knowledgeable, but very helpful and friendly. Giving opportunities too to disadvantaged individuals with learning difficulties was really inspiring. We didn’t have time to tour the gardens, but this can be an adventure for another day. This is very insightful, deep Beatles history and a look into the childhood of John Lennon. This is highly a recommended place to visit with something for everyone.

We went with a local group( Dementia Together Wirral) on a coach from Birkenhead, we had a really good trip. The grounds at Strawberry Field were nice with plenty of interesting quotes on display alongside various exhibits. The best part was the spoken guide, Gilly who brought the items in the museum/exhibition to life with her commentary. It was fascinating to see the actual piano that John Lennon composed and recorded iconic songs on. The restaurant is well worth a mention as both the service and food were excellent especially considering we were a party of 30 alongside regular visitors. All the staff were helpful and friendly towards our group which was appreciated, thanks. We had a fab trip.

What a lovely place. I took my mum for her birthday, with my grandaughter. Our lunch was lovely, the staff were so happy and kind. They sang happy birthday to mum and brought a slice of cake with a candle on it....all unexpected. We had seen the Lennon exhibition before ( its good ) so just had a little walk around the garden. Many thanks to the staff.

Recently celebrated my mother's birthday at Strawberry Fields Cafe, and it was a remarkable experience. The food was not only gorgeous but also served hot and fresh, surpassing our expectations. The staff, especially Chantelle and the assistant manager, made the occasion special by presenting a delightful birthday cake and singing for my mum. Their warmth and attention to detail elevated the entire dining experience. I highly recommend Strawberry Fields Cafe for its delicious food and exceptional service. A heartfelt thank you to the team for making this celebration truly memorable.

Visited the Salvation Army home in Liverpool made famous by John Lennon’s record if the same name. The exhibition brought back some vivid recollections and new information of the organisation and Johns connection to the site. Quite evocative in parts. It’s not huge but the gardens were closed (due to storm damage) so you can easily spend a few hours here. The coffee shop & souvenir area are well catered for - and money raised us going to a worthy cause. Met Jilly who was a great ambassador for the site- she was lovely, chatty & informative. Will be returning in better weather to walk around the grounds that we had to miss

Had a brilliant time at Strawberry Field today, the staff were excellent throughout especially Neil and Gilly, who were really welcoming, even after I confessed to being a West Ham fan! Such an incredible feeling to have Imagine playing through headphones whilst sitting a foot away from the piano it was written on. Thoroughly recommended!!!

A lovely place to visit and lots going on. Exhibition is excellent, as is the cafe and the gardens. An all year round attraction. Their ‘Steps to Work’ program, supporting young people with Learning Difficulties, into paid work is world class.
