We have been here quite a few times but not for a while. We ordered food and drinks. The wine is always good and at a really sensible price. The food in the past was good value. We waited 40 minutes, we we not told...More

I was last here earlier in the year and gave an average review. Today the place seemed much better. Quieter and more relaxed. The staff went out of their way to make us feel special. The usual pub food. The kitchen were able to do...More

Visited for lunch with work friends and bar women was very abrupt and rude. We were spoken to like rubbish and cutlery and sauces slammed down on table and food order was partly wrong.

I called into the premises with a friend for lunch. They have a varied reasonable priced menu with a good variety of wines and beers.

Visited here for one of their 2 for £8.49 meals. Big, open place, but lacks any character. Can't see the point of swags on windows, just a dust collector. Tables are severely scratched, and can't see reason why. I appreciate the fire doors on toilet,...More

We called in to the John Brodie for a late lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. It is quite a large open-plan pub/restaurant, and, at that time of day, not very full. The service was very efficient, and the staff were very cheerful and friendly. There...More
