The Liverpool Town Hall is a wonderful building you will no doubt pass on any visit to Liverpool. The building looks absolutely superb and is probably the best maintained and most beautiful Town Hall in Britain. Originally built in 1754 and then again in 1802 it attained listed building status in 1952 . The shape and structure of this building... More

We took our 4 young Grandsons, 2 are wheelchair users, to see Father Christmas here yesterday. From the moment we went in the boys were treated like royalty. The staff were so helpful with the wheelchairs, they made the boys feel very special. When they got to the grotto it was truly wonderful and well worth the money

A lovely building to visit, in particular the Hall Of Remembrance. It is a must see by anyone who has a link with Liverpool.

The building is majestic and lovely to look at from all sides! Unfortunately, we weren't able to look round it when we visited though we believe the interior is something else!! We were able to see some of the chandeliers lit up from outside and they were very impressive!

The roll of honour is a definite must see, the building itself is clear to see that it is surrounded by riches from its time in history, the outside of the building reaps gentry lords and lady's, of times when a ball was expected of the rich.

The interior of the Town Hall is a splendid and well-maintained Georgian delight. You can imagine a Jane Austen scene in the small ball room, and the large ball-room is spectacular, wth glittering chandeliers that contain thousands of pieces of glass. Downstairs is the council chamber with beautiful wooden fittings. And don't miss the room with the names of those... More

This is well worth a visit, if you can find a day it's open. The building itself is magnificent, and the council chamber needs to be seen to be believed. Well worth a look at the panel with all the names of freemen of the city. I recall some in particular.... Richard Starkey and Robert Paisley.... But there are of... More

I believe this is only open on certain days but it is worth a visit if it is. The blue and gold staircase is particularly impressive.
