Beautiful park with so many different points of interest. My family and I have been visiting for a number of years but unfortunately we have seen this beautiful park gradually being run down and very little investment. The entrance to the park via Croxteth Lane...More

As visitors to West Derby where immediate relatives live within a 5 minute walk of the park, we’ve been there for wedding photos, walks, children playing in the playground and now the Secret Winter Garden. Our tickets for 6.45pm came at the end of a...More

Always a great day out here but the highlight of today's visit was the chance to handle the birds of prey. Mark who looks after the birds was extremely knowledgeable about his field and very eager to give the visitors a memorable experience. A very...More

As soon as we got out of the car, to the moment we got back into the car it was pouring down with rain. However it was still a great day. The grounds are lovely and the house looked fab.

Wow this building was initially built in the 1500s with most of it finished in the 1600s. Discover the home of the Earls of Sefton on 500 acres. 210 rooms 22 toilets. Some parts have featured in the movie Titanic. Worth spending a couple of...More

The Hall needs an injection of cash! It is still well worth visiting. The cafe and seating area are not much to write home about and the toilets in that complex are awful ( not clean and plumbing needs attention). The grounds are lovely and...More

What a beautiful house, however the experience was ruined by volunteers leading us around. This would have been an excellent idea and experience if they knew the history about the house and the people who lived there. The first volunteer was going just ahead of...More

Yes there is. There is a premier inn at a pub called The Stag & Rainbow on Queens Drive. It would be a 10 minute walk to the entrance to the park through West Derby village which has bars, pubs and restaurants.

Not sure to be honest there was some major work going on whilst we were there. The Hall was closed for the day. Probably best to call or check the website
