We booked this walk for 4 of us as we love walking tours. Our guide was Kevin and surprisingly there were only us and a Ukrainian couple, as I expected it to be busier. We later found out it was not half term in Liverpool as it was in our area. Although Kevin had estimated the tour being between 1.5 and... More

I visited Liverpool (British resident) with 2 foreign friends to learn more about Liverpool and that's exactly what we achieved with Kevin as our tour guide. He was informative, friendly and clearly very enthusiastic about his job. A delightful tour and very learned. I would recommend this.

Joined this tour last weekend based on colleagues' recommendations. Cindy was an excellent guide, a font of information on the history and quirky stories of how the past has informed modern-day Liverpool. There were just three of us on the tour so plenty of opportunity for Q&A. For US history buffs, this tour is particularly informative given the many linkages... More

There were just three of us on the tour, and our guide, Cindy, like most blue badge guides, was full of interesting information without giving us indigestion with too many figures, dates, etc. The actual walk was quite short, but the highlight was access to "The Three Graces", the historic buildings along the waterfront. The scheduled length was one and... More

Our guide Richard provided an excellent overview of the historical and economic development of Liverpool. He was thorough and engaging, answering all our questions thoroughly. This is a must on your visit to this wonderful city.

There was a Lady" MARIE " there who was a local guide with Liverpool City Walks.Although we were not booked on any walks and she was finished for the day, she offered to show us the way as her car was parked in that area.... We did the 2-hour walking tour starting from Albert Dock TIC with two overseas visitors. Our guide, Marie, was happy to tailor the tour to suit, leaving out sights that we had already seen but making sure that we got a good feel for the history of the city and the way it had developed over the years. We learned... More

Marie gave us a very friendly and informative tour. We walked along the water-front and then visited the city centre. It was an excellent way to orientate ourselves and to establish the areas we wanted to see later in more detail. Amazingly my wife and I were the only people on the tour.

We went on the City Walk on 16 August. This is an excellent and varied introduction to Liverpool. Our guide (Tony) was very knowledgeable and informative. A very entertaining walk. Highly recommended

It was about 15 years ago we last visited Liverpool and wow, what a transformation. Marie our wonderful tour guide was a mine of information and let us know about several interesting places to visit and conducted the tour in a very warm and inclusive way and we will be returning for another longer visit. We spent our last morning... More
