Beautiful Sunday walk or stroll in the park with the family, plenty to do, feed the ducks watch the wildlife, go fishing ( permit required) play in the park, there is a one thousand year old oak tree that they call the hanging tree could be a myth but still it's there, there is also a mixture of old English... This is a beautiful Park. Large expanses of green interwoven with gorgeous green waves of trees. A popular park for both locals and visitors. Whether it is summer or winter, it is a great place for walk and a think. Plenty of room for everyone.

Just an amazingly kept autumn scene. Beautiful Japanese gardens. Just so well maintained. We are locals and would highly recommend this if you are in Liverpool.

Excellent park to walk through and while away a few hours. Lovely walled garden with many different varieties of plants. Visit the old 1000 year old oak, house and the stones.

Calderstones is a sizeable park with plenty of scope for those who want to stride across grass and between oak trees, but the real joy of this park are hidden in plain sight. I can spend hours in the English Garden, the Japanese garden and the glasshouses - wandering in different directions, squinting at details of tree barks and climbing... More

Liverpool is blessed with excellent parks & Calderstones has something for everyone. Sadly the wonderful greenhouses have gone, but there's still the Japanese Garden & lake to walk around. Great collection of old plants.

Parked in the yew tree road carpark and went for a walk on a nice sunny autumn afternoon. The park was lovely and well maintained with plenty of interest.
