The Magical Mystery Tour is Liverpool's original Beatles tour which takes you on an entertaining journey to the places where John, Paul, George and Ringo lived, met and hung out as they formed the band that took the pop world by storm. See the places that inspired songs such as Penny Lane and Strawberry Field, stand outside the houses where they lived and enjoy plenty of Fab Four tunes along the way. The tour finishes with a visit to the world famous Cavern Club where The Beatles played 292 times. This is the only tour to give you free general admission to the Cavern after your tour. Private tailor-made tours can also be arranged for your group in the Magical Mystery Tour people-carrier, minibus or coach! Translations of the tour commentary are available in French, German, Italian and Spanish.

A wonderful tour, seeing some of the lesser known aspects of the Beatles history. Tony the guide is a fantastic font of knowledge with a great personality. Our party of fourteen on the smaller magical mystery tour bus was able to visit the homes of the Beatles in various parts of town. We took in the hall where John and... More

The bus tour was a great way to hear more about the history of the Beatles and visit some of the sights that contributed to their music, including Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields. The tour also takes you to see the houses the band grew up in. A worthwhile tour if you can fit it in.

Coach for this tour was clean & warm. Excellent historical knowledge given in a very friendly way by Neil, who gave plenty of information on the fabulous Beatles, where they originated from & their lives before becoming famous. Time was given to take photos of some of the famous places including Penny Lane. The 2 hour tour ends at The... More

Really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable, really made the tour interesting with his extra facts about the fab four and Liverpool itself. Your ticket also includes admission into the Cavern which is a must.

We had Tony on our tour, he was very knowledgeable and made the tour special and interesting. Because we had a small bus we were able to go to place that the big bus could not go. I would recommend this trip.

Really enjoyed this tour due to the excellent guide Tony whose passion for and knowledge of the Beatles was exceptional. Rather than just the 'typical' tour we expected he went out of his way to show as many interesting places as possible and share lots of stories and information. We have intended to do this tour for a long time... More

What a superb tour. Everything you knew and didn't know brought to life by the brilliant tour guide. His descriptions took us into the hearts and minds of the fab four, you could feel the emotions that the boys must have had as they wrote their most memorable songs. A fantastic way to spend a few hours. Well worth the... More

Strictly for Beatles fanatics, but glad I went. Guide very knowledgeable & happy to show off his connections with the surviving Beatles. You'll find out more than enough about Penny Lane & Strawberry Fields! The interiors of John Lennon's & Paul McCartney's houses are not included as they belong to the NT.

Tour was great, learnt a lot about the Beatles and the commentary was really interesting. 2 hours is perfect amount of time and the stops were great. Only thing is the engine on the bus is extremely loud when stationary not nice on the ears. And should probably get a toilet on the bus.
