This building looks very impressive from the outside with its columns. It has got a "plateau" in front of the building which hosts events ie Christmas Markets

My son and daughter-in-law chose St George's Hall for their wedding and it was a beautiful venue. The Registrar Stephanie was excellent. There was a webcam of the event for relatives in Australia and New Zealand who couldn't make it and it is still available...More

A guided tour is a must to see everything about this remarkable and historic building. It begins by entering via the prison cells with their memorabilia including whipping racks etc, the prisoners would be held down below before going up to one of the two...More

Anyone can walk into St George's Hall and be amazed by the buildings interior but go behind the scenes and a completely different building is on show. A very knowledgeable tour guide and a maximum of ten people on each tour makes it more intimate...More

Great venue. Idea place to visit in Liverpool. Lots of history to uncover. Try and find out when the original flooring is on show as that is a perfect time to go, doesn't happen very often.

Brilliant self guided tour, fantastic architecture, the hall was lovely with beautiful stained glass windows. Wish we had seen the Minton floor. The cells and court room were fascinating. St John's gardens are very interesting

The hall is indeed worth a visit as are the Minton tiles, the organ too is also wonderful but for me the cells and old prisoner photos make for a very emotional visit. You can wander through all the cells, even to the pre-execution cell,...More

We did visit the Rose Room but I cannot honestly say it stood out in my memory but then its was not decked out. However my money would go on the Palm House in Sefton Park.
