This is a wonderful building and so graceful. Visiters were invited inside the great hall when I went and the marble tiles, pictures and decorative walls are absolutely fantastic.

Really interesting visiting the Victorian courtroom and prison cells. The main hall is spectacular although we didn’t have time for the tour so could only view it from the third floor gallery.

Yes it’s free. And they do guided tours. And it’s open though access to some rooms may be limited depending upon the buildings use. Enjoy your trip

we considered it but it really is tiny and not very comfortable. Its about the size of a small one person office. We chose the Sefton in the end which was lovely 😊
