I am absolutely dispponted that the organisers of the Christmas market did not consider the impossibility of people with limited mobility that use wheelchairs or mobility scooter and or parents with pram to move on the big cobblestone floor of the market by st George hall. I did try but I couldn't move on such uneven floor without damaging my... More

We went a a guided tour of the Hall with Steve Binns. Steve has been blind since birth, yet he knows every ipart of the Hall and can describe in details the beauty of the building. It is well worth booking a tour, you will be amazed at the elegance of the main hall.

For a few pounds (£2.50), an interesting insight into the past of criminals and the court rooms where judges sat and delivered their sentences. The 3rd floor provides a great view of the main hall and fantastic organ, play it Reginald!

This is a great, free stop to visit in Liverpool and a must since it is a beauty. It is hit and miss when you go if the balcony is open, as it closes for events, but do try to see it. The hall itself is stunning; my mom and I were blown away by the decor, architecture and history... More

My grandkids loved their visit to Georges Hall, still some much part go Liverpool's history. The amazing hall with its famous organ, the steps out front and the gardens out the back. My grandchild always love the old jail and court museums which tale you back through centuries of crimes and sentences applied in the old courts. The architecture itself... More

Located just opposed to the Liverpool Lime Street Station, visitor coming by train can mark it as the first point to visit. The architecture, both within and outside, is amazing.

Just opposite Liverpool Lime Street station, this imposing building is well worth a visit. The visitors' entrance is a bit obscure, being on the downward-sloping St George's Place street to the left, and like so many of the museums in Liverpool, there is no charge. (There are also lavatories here if you resent paying 30p or whatever across the road... More

Went to a gig with Jenny Eclair and ended up in he concert hall by the William Brown Street entrance. It's a smallish venue with an equally small stage, ideal for a one person gig. Nice venue, although for anyone over 5'10" sitting in the permanent seats may find it a tad cramped.
