Visited the Albert Dock many times such a great place the atmosphere is fantastic great hotels we have stayed a few times actually on the dock.If you get the oppurtunity go on the Mersey that is a great experience as well.Plenty of shops eateries etc.well...More

Down by the waterfront, maybe less than a mile walk from the Lime Street Railway Station and through Bold Street. Lots of shops and restaurants in this re-purposed square dock area. Best of all, it's the home of the Beatle's Story Museum (see separate review)....More

There is so much to see on the waterfront. The area round Albert Dock had loads of cafes and restaurants. There are some great statues ie Beatles, tribute to a working horse, Billy Fury plus the maratime museum which was very interesting. Just lovely to...More

Enjoyable, leisurely stroll great cafes and quirky shops a museum or two to enjoy. Plenty to see and do. Queues for muses can be long though

This was a fantastic day seeing all the yatchs setting off. There is plenty to see around the Docks shops etc: Have comfy foot wear as there are a lot of cobbles.

Plenty to see and do in the docks we spent ages looking around at the area the statues and plenty of places to eat or just sit for a while.

Bars, restaurants, museums are a few of the attractions at quayside here. There is also the Liverpool Echo Arena. Atmosphere day and night is good. It's busy but safe.

From my observation they had just been putting normal padlocks on the fence chain, with there initials edged in them.
