About
Peaky Blinders Bar has arrived at Liverpool's iconic Cains Brewery. Opened in December 2017, the bar has already proven to be the biggest attraction in the recently revamped Brewery Village. The project has breathed new life into a previously dilapidated Grade 2 listed building dating back to 1850. Period industrial decor with a Peaky Blinder theme creates a fantastic experience for all ages. Live bands on stage Friday to Sunday.

I have been messaging with a wonderful Woman who lives in Oklahoma USA and we both love the Peaky Blinders series. I made a plan that if she ever visited I would take her there as part of a tour of my home City. I've lived around London since leaving Liverpool in 1985. She made the flight and we drove up and I already reserved a room in the Adelphi, did the LFC Tour, went into the Cavern Club for a beer and nostalgia. Walked around the beautiful Museum and Art Gallery and visited the renovated docks and it was amazing. As a surprise for her we had a long walk to the venue and I was so happy. The place was in darkness and was closed. It was 8PM in the evening on Thursday 16th January 2019. My excitement turned to disappoint and I was at a loss and I could see she was disappointed that we couldn't go inside. The Website said open from 12.00 until 0.00 and there was no one around to talk too. She left without experiencing one of the main attractions I had planned for the two of us. I suggest calling ahead before visiting to save the poor experience we had

Would not recommend. Friend waited at the bar for 10 minutes, looked up and down with a dirty look by staff members and not served. She waiting for 30 mins in the end. Bearing in mind there are only 3 other parties in the whole bar. Other friend paid for whole bottle of Prosecco, only to get given one by staff that had a whole glass out of it. When questioned, they admitted they were getting rid of a half bottle. £20 for a flat cap you could get from primark for £2 and only 2-3 pictures on the wall of the peaky blinders. Music could be described as 00’s indie pop, certainly not the type of music from the program. Not sure how they can get away with it being a themed bar. Bouncers did not even bother to acknowledge us walking in, let alone check our bags which made us (as a group of 8 women) feel very uncomfortable given the current spiking of women via injection of muscle relaxant that is prominent in Liverpool at the moment. Have been living here for 4 years and is by far the worst place I’ve visited in Liverpool. Extremely disappointed after so much hype.

My twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop by Cains Brewery Village and visit some of the great pubs and bars located in this eclectic former brewery complex and Peaky Blinders was at the top of our list of pubs to visit.
Housed in the beautiful red bricked Higsons Brewery building, the interior is lovely, lots of posters of the cast of the popular tv series, a cool looking serving bar, brew tanks on display and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Cains Brewery Village.
After we track and traced we were allocated a table, we ordered a beer each, served chilled,we just kicked back, chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub.
This pub is so cool ,not normally a fan of theme pubs but this is good ,staff are really nice and beers served are iced cold and sparkling and not bad value for money, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and to be honest socialising again albeit socially distanced.
We really enjoyed our beers in here, only stayed for the one each before moving on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
Peaky Blinders Pub is easy to locate in Cains Brewery Village, an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants.
Most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

After really looking forward to visiting this bar for new years eve we were disappointed. We did not see any horse parade on arrival only a couple of vintage cars. There was no cloakroom therefore everyone who didn't get a table had to hold their coat all evening. There were nowhere near enough tables and chairs so most people standing all night. There was no 1920s band but a modern group performing. Flapper dancers only performed 1 dance on dance floor which you couldn't see through crowds. Only 2 casino tables so you couldn't get on them to play and they were packed away after 2 hours. Canopes weren't brought round enough. All in all not as advertised. Not happy and would not recommend.

I did not visit Liverpool to come to the Peaky Blinders Bar but it was certainly something that was on my list of "must see/do" as I planned my trip there - especially being such a big fan of the series.

What a disappointment! I was under the impression there would be bartender(s) in character (from the many pictures I have seen) and maybe even some craft cocktails. Not only did they not have the craft cocktails but they were even out of their very own Pilsner Urquell beer! Yes, I know it says Beer Mongers but the selection of beers available at the one bar that was open was the same as any pub you could visit.

Due to it being a Monday night and one of the storms that just hit the UK passing through, the place was empty. I was able to walk around and take some pictures of the Peaky Blinders series they had strewn about the place but, other than that, there wasn't much else tying it to the show.

While the bartender was nice no one was dressed in period attire. The place was actually a little dingy and dark. I even tried the Peaky Blinders photo booth upstairs, hoping to get some Peaky Blinders flavor to my visit, and it didn't work.

In the end it could have been any pub. There was nothing special about this place.

Two beers and I was out of there. Very much disappointed.

I had my 30th in the upstairs function room - such a great venue. Nice big space, comfortable seats and the manager (Stacey) did everything she could to make my party a fantastic evening.

They allowed me to bring my own bands for entertainment and even outside catering! They also only required £100 deposit, on other venues across the city you are looking at a minimum upfront spend of around £1000 if not more.

I had friends and family coming from a far also...the area is littered with everything you could need so you can spend the entire day there.

Thanks very much to Stacey and the other staff at the Peaky's Liverpool! - see you for my 40th!

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub and bar hopping around the Cains Brewery Village and dropped into Peaky Blinders on a Saturday afternoon and what a great time we had.
I love the look of this bar ,its an authentic pub ,cool looking serving bar ,great decor and furnishings including magnificent looking shiny beer vats prominently on display and plenty of photos adorning the walls of the much fated tv series, there's also plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its just a great place to unwind in.
We got a beer each,we both opted to have pilsner urquell beer, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great pub we were in.
I really enjoy pilsner urquell beer, this delicious light, hoppy beer from the Czech Republic is so tasty ,I have been visiting Prague and Pardubice for close to 30 years and I have developed a real taste for this beer and served here in this pub it was just as good, hardly surprising this pub is so busy with beers this good.
We really enjoyed our beers in here and the great vibe so much so that we ended up staying for another beer each before we moved on and as on every other visit we were totally impressed with this pub.
Peaky Blinders is easy to locate on Stanhope Street in the wonderful Cains Brewery Village, an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants.
Well worth checking out if your in the area.

Deflated , was expecting a venue with lots of atmosphere, instead we found a normal bar with music and fella with guitar singing, food out sourced because it has no kitchen it self to cook food on site, Which is not well advertised and does not say this on the website...found the venue to be very tacky not how its being advertised at all, service was poor ,food was no better when it arrived 45mins later. Toilets were dirty considering recent covid times, felt cold no atmosphere at all , just drunk loud ppl .. big peaky blinder fan so was super excited to go,only to be disappointed 😞. Shall not return. So peaky blinder fans be warned, its just a regular pub with a few 1920's bits n bobs and a few peaky blinders pictures on walls, nothing more.

Appreciating we are in covid times, myself and three friends waited in a que to enter, we were told to download the NHS app - which was absolutely fine. Upon telling the host I would need to jump on the WiFi - she proceeded to tell me ‘it’s 2020? do you not have data’ presuming this was a joke I laughed. I mentioned could we please leave our details on paper, to which she sternly replied ‘I have one sheet of paper left which I want to use on an OAP, you have no excuse to not have data’ ?? To say I was shocked was understatement!

Peaky Blinders do you really believe that’s an acceptable way to speak to customers in the uncertain times we are living in. The host at the front is an embarrassment to the years I’ve been in customer service.

This was the first time we visited Peaky Blinders in Liverpool and we were not disappointed.

We came with friends from Harrogate and had an amazing night out.

The band Snakehouse were outstanding.

Love the table booking service too.

Will definitely come again.
