Although Liverpool lost its UNESCO World Heritage Site status there's still no denying that the waterfront is still a magnificent site to behold.
The Three Graces namely Port Of Liverpool Building, The Cunard Building and The Royal Liver Building are amazing structures, such beautiful buildings.
The Port Of Liverpool Building was constructed between 1903 - 1907 from designs from architect's F.B Hobbs & Sir Arnold Thornely built in the Edwardian Baroque style of architecture that is so pleasing on the eye, my twin brother Stephen and I had been over in Birkenhead visiting some great pubs and decided to jump the ferry back to Liverpool, the views of the waterfront are stunning and the Port Of Liverpool Building stood out ,a wonderful building, the beautiful facade, the domed tower, its just a stunning looking building, its most definitely well worth checking out if you're planning a trip to Liverpool.

The Port of Liverpool Building is located across the street from the Beatles statues . You can not miss it. It is very beautiful and dominates the harbor area of Liverpool.

There is a lot to see in this city. The downtown area is very active and filled with interesting architecture. The area around the docks is easy walking with many structures meriting a closer look.

The Port of Liverpool Building is a great example of this style. It clearly has had some restoration work, which has really paid dividends. It looks really nice, unfortunately access to the inside was prohibited.

One of Liverpool's Three Graces is now open (the ground floor) to the public because a new Cafe (Mrs Danvers Cafe) has opened which allows you access to the beautiful decor inside this classic waterfront building.
Completed in 1907, The Port of Liverpool Building was erected as the head office of the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board. It is a monumental structure in the Edwardian Baroque style with pediments and tall lantern towers and a huge dome.
NOTE the cafe closes at 2pm ...... so get in the building before then and enjoy ..... then enjoy a cuppa 1940s style

This is another one of the three graces. It’s a stunning building right on the water. It’s truly a beautiful structure.

The Liverpool waterfront is justifiably famous for it's great architecture ,the three buildings that dominate the waterfront are The Cunard Building ,The Royal Liver Building and The Port Of Liverpool Building that are collectively known as The Three Graces.
The Port Of Liverpool Building was constructed between 1903-1907 from designs from architects F.B Hobbs and Sir Arnold Thornely ,built in the Edwardian Baroque style of architecture that looks superb ,my twin brother Stephen and I were wandering around this waterfront area in December ,bitterly cold ,we were heading to The Captain Alexander Pub and passed this building that looked amazing ,so photogenic ,if you're in the area it's a building I highly recommend you check out ,it's easy to locate along the famous Pier Head .

One of what's known as the three graces with the Cunard and Liver building. Probably the least attractive in my view of the three but a still stunning building
