Purveyors of fine music since 1964. The Magnet is back! After nearly 2 years away and under new management - a Liverpool institution returns. Currently open Friday and Saturday nights with a full program of entertainment 7 nights a week coming in September. Expect live music from up and coming as well as established acts and the city's best DJ's to keep you moving until the small hours of the night. In keeping with the venue's origins as Liverpool's roots music Mecca expect a soundtrack of Northern Soul, Disco and Funk with a modern twist. Our favorite drinking hole, second home and all round social hub of the city is closed no more, so come on down and take your place at the bar. Magnet is a bar, venue and nightclub with the emphasis on music, serving good liquor and entertainment until as late as is no good for you!

A lovely venue was spoilt by rubbish comedy. Almost fifteen quid for under two hours of 'comedy'. Pints of real ale at four pound twenty a go! Total rip off. Comedians that just slag off the audience and have nothing to say about current affairs...More

Visited for a comedy night in the cellar, which was intimate and just perfect for quality comedy. The bar staff were laid back and convivial which contributed to the general chilled out feel of the venue. Really enjoyed my visit to The Magnet and I...More

Hi Cathy, Unfortunately the Fish Tank part of the venue is located in our basement with only stair access. Additionally, there is one step between the Fish Tank and the basement toilet facilities.
