Perfect couple of hours on a wet December afternoon. Knowledgeable guy that took us around and happy to answer all questions, no matter how trivial. If I have one tip - its ask about the photo of the dog - Enjoy!

You can feel the history in the council chamber where the city council have been making their deliberations for hundreds of years. Well worth a visit and has a lovely view of the high Street.

We visited on a Saturday morning and were treated to an entertaining and educational tour of the building. Our guide was a fount of knowledge of anything to do with Lincoln and deftly took us through its history from the Roman times to today.

It just appeared in the centre of Lincoln and is a fantastic building. Unfortunately didn't have time for a tour but wished I had. With so much of Lincoln there are people begging within the arch which can be off putting.
