The Collection was really well set out and all the displays easy to read and understand. They've packed so much into the place. So... More

Visited recently to liaise with friends. Lovely relaxed space with appetising food and drinks. Of course you also have a gift shop and great exhibition spaces to explore too: hard to resist!

Breakfast in the Stokes Cafe at The Collection , delicious and leisurely and then a wander round The Roman exhibits and then over to the nearby Usher Gallery to view a great and original photography exhibition. A fantastic 4 hours .The Collection and The Usher Gallery are 2 amazing places in historic Lincoln.

Popped in to the Usher Gallery for an hour during a day visit to Lincoln. Although not the largest of art galleries, there is a varied collection of old masterpieces, modern art, ceramics and clocks. Fans of Lowry will find 3 of his works here. I especially enjoyed the scenes of Lincoln that perfectly capture the history and magic of... More

We went to the Usher Gallery to escape poor weather and ended up staying a good hour and a half. Absolute gem of a place with some excellent artwork, sculpture and even old clocks! The staff were lovely and happy to chat about the exhibitions. Well worth a visit if you're heading up Steep Hill and need to take a... More

A very well thought out set of exhibition rooms catering for all ages and a wide variety of interests. I've visited it with other old fogeys like myself as well as with 3 year old grand children and all got something out of it.
