It is so rare these days to find a pub with atmosphere which is not principally a reastaurant & in which you are bombarded with loud music. This was just what I was looking for & had an excellent selection of real ales. Highly recommended.

The Strugglers is a great classic English pub. There is a vast array of tasty ales from around the country which are all kept superbly and taste delicious. You can choose to sit in the bar or the adjoining snug area, both are nice. The...More

Go in this pub fairly often and it is always friendly and welcoming. I cannot understand the reviews that say otherwise. The landlady always says hello when anyone enters and always says goodbye to everyone. She is friendly and the service is always efficient. As...More

We visited The Strugglers after touring Lincoln Castle. Both share some of the historic past of Lincoln. The Strugglers is a classic real ale pub - compact but welcoming with a wide and varied of drinks. There is an enclosed garden area behind that is...More

Landlady was so rude and obnoxious!! Her attitude was absolutely disgusting and we were not made to feel welcome at all. Litterly a regulars pub, like out of the league of gentlemen!

Another great pub in the old part (cathedral/castle area) of Lincoln, absolutely rammed when I went in but the service was still quick and friendly, and the ale was also excellent. Highly recommended, make it a two for one trip with the also excellent Victoria...More

At least a dozen hand pulled ales to choose from , great advice from the barman and it was a joy to have a few pints. No fancy foods in this establishment , just excellent beer !! Lovely enclosed rear garden area with lots of...More

Great selection of beers, comfy seats, and a true local pub. Take cash as they don't accept credit. Atmosphere was very cozy and we enjoyed our drinks.
