Just off the A46, Whisby is a lovely, natural oasis of calm. Plenty of walks, hides to view the birds and spacious cafe with good, generous amounts of food. Wouldn't want to visit when raining, but on a sunny day, it's delightful.

I frequent Whisby on a regular basis to walk the grounds and use the restaurant. I was there today 19 October and could not believe the racket that was coming presumably from some function or other downstairs. Whisby is a place for solitude and quiet...More

Dogs are very welcome here. There is a small walk where they can go off lead too, but most other walks are on lead to protect wildlife.
