Despite awful weather we visited and were not disappointed.The house was lovely with very interesting, knowledgeable guides.The gardens were lovely.Would love to go back on a dry day.Very good range of shops and great cafe.Highly recommended

Saw a road poster advertising the art in the gardens, so decided to have a look. So glad we did. The art trail was fascinating, not all to my taste, but that's art. A very pleasant cafe for lunch. Good way to spend the day.
