Quick lunchtime stop after appointment at nearby LRI. Friendly staff, well kept real ales, nice food including proper chips. Love the beer mats all over the walls and ceilings of previous beers and the old photos of Leicester especially the Tigers.

Visiting family in the hospital for several weeks - we found that we would often walk to the city centre to get a spot of lunch. We realised that everyday we had been driving past this pub that offered food. When it was extremely blustery...More

Close to the Tigers and City. A great pub for pre and post match drinks. Stylishly furnished, full range of Everards ales and nice staff. Bar snacks too, pork pie superb.

Great traditional English pub. Despite a pre-Tigers home match crowd, served really promptly with good beers. Will visit again. Thanks to Tripadvisor for finding this place.

We popped in here for a quick drink, living locally, and it was a great little find, an old world pub, that was perfect, we happened on a night where they had folk music playing a local group, with the decor perfectly old school, dark...More

Very nice pub. The owners always remember what we drink, the food is standard pub grub, big portions for good value. Happy it's our local.
