This pub was closed when we went for lunch on Thursday 21June 2018. Apparently it's been closed for some weeks though the website appears to be working.

taken over by new owners less than a year ago,they work really hard to,please you, cutomer serbice is excellent,people are freindly,mostly locals, they ave a ladies night,which i havent gone to, but they will seve you ,with great food and just a beautiful old pub

We have been past this pub many times over the years and promised ourselves that we would give it a try sometime. Today was that day and we were not disappointed. Would recommend the Bangers and mash, followed by malteaser cheese cake.
