Not much else to say. It's great for a walk especially when it's not raining but there aren't any other activities.

Family visit; great location, vast grounds/lakes, friendly, competitive car park rate @ £2.50. Missing a trick here. Watermead is a popular place to walk with dogs and take children. There's plenty of open space and the park is huge. Facilities are lacking though and parts are a bit run down.

Mixed views on Watermead. On one side the lakes, canal, footpaths, wildlife all make for a nice country park where you can easily spend 2-3 hours. On the other there seems to be a complete lack of facilities. Toilets that do exist are very poor...More
