We went for the first time in 2015 and initially were a bit hesitant about the entrance price as it was higher than we normally would spend for these type of events. However every penny of that was worth it. The atmosphere was incredible. The...More

Went to see Vulcan for last time, unfortunately that was cancelled, however the show didn't disappoint. The attention to detail is amazing, they have everything, all kind of equipment from vehicles, hospitals, food/kitchen, everything. Definitely will come back next year. And the best was the...More

Like many others I'd never been to this event before and was going primarily for the Vulcan. Was disappointed when she couldn't display but had a great day nevertheless. Plenty to see and do and good food, reasonably priced. I note one review which calls...More

What a wonderful show for all ages! Caters for everyone. Very well thought of and organised. The crew work extremely hard to make this happen every year for all the public. One not to miss!

This is the first WW2 reenactment we have attended. Very impressed with the amount of genuine equipment on the large site. The en-actors really take it serious with trenches through out the woods and gunfights taking place. It is quite surreal to wander around the...More

This was our first visit and to be honest we came for The Vulcan - sadly she had a technical fault :( However, what a little pot of gold we have found. Lots of WW2 re-enactments, military vehicles, dioramas, trade stalls, food and drink. This...More

You can catch the 84 bus from St Margarets bus station in Leicester city centre. I recommend getting off at the Park Close stop in Cosby. walk towards the co-op, then turn right and follow the croft road.

They are, but personally I wouldn't take a dog because of the noise from the battle.
