This is a cute little windmill that's open a select few days of the year and is worth a visit.
Would like to say a huge thank you to Margaret, Ann, Bruce and Shirley who made our visit special and made us feel very welcome.

No, sorry, that's incorrect. We open the last Sunday of each summer month, plus the National Mills weekend and Heritage Sundays. (Sometimes these are bank holiday weekends, but still only the Sundays).
I cannot imagine why this is on Trip Advisor, even if you park up there is nothing to see - it's just a locked up windmill on the way into BlackpoolMore

These dates and times are publicised on our web-site and Facebook...More
Lived in Blackpool for years and didn’t even realise it was open. It’s the last Sunday in the month very small fee and children free. Very interesting, run by passionate volunteers. Well worth a visit if you’re interested in that sort of thing. We enjoyed...More

We have driven past this windmill on the way to Blackpool, many times over the years. I always assumed that it was just an empty building that you couldn't go inside, until we were driving past it one day and noticed a sign saying "open",...More
