The Grand Theatre was designed by Frank Matcham in 1894. This amazing space is a wonder of restoration and revival, presenting a full range of every performing artform, as Blackpool's community theatre, Lancashire's preferred opera house and Britain's National Theatre of Variety.

Went to see T-Rextasy last night. Terrific evening of Glamrock and glamour. Great to hear all the classic chart topping hits of Marc Bolan and T-Rex. The atmosphere was electric with plenty of dancers.

Me and my mum went to see Shirley Valentine which was brilliant. Jodie Prenger was amazing. The theatre itself is lovely and the seats are spacious, if a bit hard on the bum.

Jodie Prenger was absolutely amazing as Shirley Valentine! She is the sole actress narrating the entire performance and had us all in awe. Jodie totally captivated the audience with her wonderful Scouse accent, then switching into different characters and accents. She received a well deserved...More

We had the privilege of seeing a production of Shirley Valentine. Almost a packed house. If seated near back be aware if a tall person is in the seat in front. Does make the view difficult. However this can be overcome by shuffling around &...More

Not a good experience, Nice building but a lot of steps. Tickets are expensive. The show was disappointing with very little atmosphere. Not much leg room in my row. Unhelpful staff.
