The Grand Theatre was designed by Frank Matcham in 1894. This amazing space is a wonder of restoration and revival, presenting a full range of every performing artform, as Blackpool's community theatre, Lancashire's preferred opera house and Britain's National Theatre of Variety.

Theatre is lovely. I've never seen a bad show yet. Really lucky to live in Blackpool where there is a theatre like this.

We went to see the Wednesday matenee performance, ' Tom and Diana ' were well portrayed by Jeffery Holland and Nichola McAuliffe, if you closed your eyes you could almost believe it was the original actors, Jane and Harvey were not very convincing, before the...More

The theatre has been beautifully restored. Only criticism, would be the most uncomfortable seats ever. They needed more padding them to stop myself from fidgeting throughout the entire show! Went to see the musical 9 to 5.... Cast were amazing

First time here, it's a smallish theater with great architecture inside making it feel grand, the layout is similar to Hull City Hall, but feels much more grand thanks to it's decoration making it feel "grand" on the walls and in front of the seating...More

This old theatre is a real theatre small and beautifully decorated. With stalls, circle and boxes. Unlike arenas you can actually see the stage.

Pre-Booked the seats - not needed. A little let down by the place itself. Not having visited for a few years, I must say it has faded somewhat. Gone are the well dressed 'greeters' in 'Black tie', in fact no-one to welcome you at all....More

Went to the matinee of Nell Gwyn. The theatre is beautiful. Ornate masonry, woodwork and stained windows. Theatre was a little chilly but the staff were warm and friendly and the play is a bawdy delight!

Hello. Yes it is a decent view in the Upper Circle, however some of the seats to the side have a restricted view .
