North pier Blackpool is one of 3 piers (central and south the others ) Free to walk on and a great British tradition . Parts no need some much needed renovation and a spruce up. But a great stroll along nether the less.

Pleasant little pier to walk on - not much open when we went as it was closed off for preparation for the firework display. A real gem of a carousel towards the end.

It's what you expect of an ageing seaside town in England. Pier is looking shabby with rotten woodwork and rusty water marked paintwork. Junk food and overpriced attractions. Enough said really.

This pier is still truly Victorian, and it's a perfect place to take a stroll and admire the beach and sea. All the buildings look genuinely Victorian, and there are no noisy rides filling the space. I loved the central row of lamp-posts and flowerbeds,...More

Traditional British Pier experience and almost exclusive to the UK these days, long may they survive, this is one of the better ones and so much to do especially for the kids or just to take a nice walk along.

Bars, shops, cafe, carousel and a little train that goes up and down. Lovely to wander, probably the windiest day ever!
