Blackpool is the only the only seaside resort with three piers and until the last decade or so, the Fylde coast penisula boasted five piers but with loss of Fleetwood's it is now only Blackpool's North, Central and South and the St Annes piers remaining. The North has always been the slightly more reserved, " a cut above", the other... More

I am living in Blackpool and I can remember the golden old days of the North Pier. This weekend I just visited to see the place, all the beauties gone, but still not ruined like Brighton's North pier, some lively activities there. This pier near to the famous Blackpool tower, definitely big crowd puller if good attractions included.

still has its old fashioned charm to it, would love to see it getting done up, but restored to its old beauty not done trashy like the south and central piers

the pier itself is quite good for how old it is it is kept very clean and tidy you have to pay to get on and the price is too expensive for whats on the pier as there is nothing on it except a cafe/restaurant at the end they need to add some more attractions as it is quite boring

Hi, you do not have to pay to access North Pier, this is incorrect information. Entry to North Pier is completely free. North Pier is heritage, therefore no attractions whatsoever can be added to the majority of the pier. Thanks More

In need of TLC, but not modernising, walking the wooden boards should be something that is possible forever... I accept that Blackpool is all about bright lights and amusement arcades but there should always be room for a pier or two with history!

Carousel- man in kiosk miserable and smoking. Man on little train miserable and ignorant. Carousel had pigeon Poo everywhere and loads of junk around. Theatre lots of health and safety issues. Ripped flooring. Kiosk immediately top of steps. Theatre smelly

Thought we'd take a look around the pier and it was a waste of our time. Overpriced rides, expensive fair games and a shabby arcade. Such a shame for this iconic symbol of Blackpool.

At the end of the pier there has always been an entertainer playing an organ or whatever, this time there was a Beer festival on and a guy was playing great music, most enjoyable.
