The Forest of Bowland was designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1964 and provides some of the most peaceful and remote walking, riding and cycling in the country. This is the best bike trail place we have been so far. We have a 6 year old he really enjoyed it but struggled the last half of the blue trail. We would go again but would tag our tag a long bike for him....More

If you have a toddler (3+) who enjoys the Gruffalo stories this a must. Excellent value for money £3 parking and £3 Spotter kit (not compulsory). We had the advantage of being able to go mid-week and had plenty of time to use the app...More
