What a fantastic magical place to visit. My wife and I expected to spend about an hour here but spent well over two hours and felt that we rushed it. The walk upto the waterfall is not challenging and there are plenty of routes lined...More

Not an easy walk up to the falls. MANY slippery wet steps. However, if you are capable of climbing and sure footed, it is a great retreat on a hot day.

A fabulous walk, beautiful views of multiple waterfalls. My grown up sons jumped in a pool, others picnicked, good places for dogs, peacefulness, photography, birds, water. Easy parking with friendly kiosk selling drinks etc.

Great walk around the woods, with some amazing trees and obviously the waterfall. Lovely birdlife. Excellent place for a picnic.

This beautiful waterfall is both thunderously awe inspiring and sensationally spectacular. You can feel the spray at the bottom and look down in awe from the bridge at the top. You can approach the force from the NT car park at the bottom or various...More

Stunning place with a well maintained walking route. As expected it was very busy in July which was fine...the cost of the car park was ridiculous though with only an all-day option. Think this needs to be thought through better.

Wow!! What a beautiful place. We went back a second time to take in more of the scenery. I recommend taking your time & going all the way to the top.

No entry fee but it's fairly out of the way so the parking is needs and is fairly expensive unless you are a member of the National trust, then it's free! You could get a boat there from Pooley Bridge but again you will... More

About 15/20 mins if you go to the right of the river , this brings you out at the bridge at the bottom of the waterfall, quite steep to go to the top but view from the foot of the falls is great

There are a couple of waterfalls at different levels up from the main car-park. With a toddler I'd stick nearer the bottom as it could be a bit of an adventure for them going up the track paths - partly depends on the... More
