We spent this morning with Luke of Keswick Adventure Centre doing some beginner abseiling with a friend and our kids. Luke was great with all the kids who had various degrees of nervousness. We felt safe at all times and had a lot of fun.

We are very luck to have Luke - he is a fantastic guide and equally at home working with children and adults alike. He is very patient and a great motivator. That said, you would have had an equally enjoyable time with any of our guides. I'm glad you all enjoyed yourselves and look forward to providing your adventure next... More

My friend and I enjoyed an afternoon of ghyll scrambling during a recent weekend break in the Lake District. I would describe it as doing a nature-made assault course in water. Our guide Luke was brilliant and knew the track down the hill so well. We felt totally safe and he gave us the precise instructions to make a safe... More

We were in the Lake District over the bank holiday weekend looking for a fun outdoors activity to do the next day and were able to arrange the night before to hire mountain bikes and then go ghyll scrambling all for £50 each. Luke was a great instructor for the ghyll scrambling - he knew the waterfalls inside out and... More

Thanks Alistair and team for a great Ghyll Scrambling experience. Regardless of the chilly water our boys loved it - and so did the coaches and Dads! Great instruction - how did you manage to keep our boys quiet for so long! All in all a perfect finish to our weekend. Thanks for the fab photos on Facebook too. We... More

Two great adventures. Day 1 was an afternoon Ghyll Scrambling. After being kitted out and a short drive the adventure was exploring the wet and confined spaces of the Ghyll. Really a trip out of the comfort zone. Day 2 a morning on the Via Feratta up at Honister Pass. Serious exposure and real concentration required. Two great trips out... More

After a fitful 2 hour sleep the night before, and waking up with an enormous hangover, the idea of getting into a clammy wetsuit and plunging ourselves into icy cold rock pools didn't appeal. However, the sun was shining, and once we were in the water we were sold. Some bottle-testing moments at the top of some of the jumps,... More
