Visiting for a long weekend we visited the theatre to while away an evening and enjoyed it immensely. A modern building it is attractively laid out and there are good views of the stage from the balcony where we sat. It’s a lovely provincial theatre...More

Always book TbtL when we visit The Lakes. This time we saw Rails in the Studio and Single Spies in the Main House. Both excellent, as the productions always are, but the acting in Rails was exceptional. I laughed, cried, in this family dynamics rollercoaster...More

Fun play suitable for family viewing - extremely well performed by trio of actors. Theatre is modern and spacious and the tickets not dear. We sat in middle of row 2 and this wasn't too close.

Nothing on is quite along those lines. But I’d avoid Rails as it’s rather harrowing and recommend the Alan bennet play that’s currently on.
