Having glimpsed this at information centre I was intrigued it's funny that was in little side street and up stairs which led to an informal shop with cowboy doors leading the way. Whole of puzzling place was based upon optical illusion and I was impressed by how it captivated me. Wasn't board by any of exhibits and loved the explanations... More

Visited this place and found it thoroughly enjoyable. Good range of different mind bending pictures and puzzles. There are a couple of very interesting rooms in which to have your picture taken.

We picked up a leaflet while on holiday in the area and decided to visit as we had been in a similar venue before. This one is really amazing. Caters for all ages, young and old. Would strongly recommend a visit.

Entry fee was reasonable, probably 45 minutes to an hour of activities to keep both children and adults amused. Additional puzzles available in the shop area which can add another 30-40 minutes to your stay. Some very interactive activities that stretch the brain. Exhibits could do with some TLC, some not working/out of order. Amazing collection of dust and dirt... More

Visited on a Sunday afternoon having seen an advert in one of the maps - thought we would give it a go - interesting place for inquisitive kids with some optical illusions such as the slanting room that make you feel a bit queasy, but in a fun way. Not massive but enough to keep occupied for an hour or... More

Fun puzzles lots of things that keep you thinking and busy on a wet day in the lakes! Like that you can buy little puzzles to take home and share with friends and family ☺

A real hidden gem! Excellent value for money and some really surprising illusions with actual wow factor. We went on a rainy morning. The place can be done in 40 mins but we took over an hour because of the interest it caused in my 10 year old son. Lots of kids as well as adults. Highly recommended.

I found this place on trip advisor before my visit to the spectacularly beautiful Keswick. The illusions were clever but tired, needed to be refurbished a little and looked after better. There are 3 rooms that were particularly fun to us, The anti gravity room, we took some fun photos, a room that evidently made me feel very sick (it... More
