Embroidery workshop at Quaker Tapestry. Brilliant! As were the Quaker panels themselves, especially since we knew how to do the stitches by then.

A series of exquisite wool embroideries depicting the history and beliefs of the Quakers. Be prepared to stand up for about two hours. Take the audio guide and watch the videos, they fit together very well.

If you think this is all about needle work then think again. Just as the Bayeux Tapestry tells the story of the last successful invasion of England the Quaker Tapestry tells the history of the Quaker friends and their values in life. You will need...More

This is everything you would expect from a Quaker exhibition: informative and inspiring. And a good coffee shop in the courtyard. Parking available if you are a bona fide visitor.
