A lovely visit to the kendal castle. A magnificent castle ruin, made the walk to the castle worth it. With spectacular views from the top...worth a visit.

Only visited due to previous Tripadvisor reviews & we were very pleased that we did. It is quite a steep walk in some places though the track is well-marked. Whilst there is only a small part of the castle left (one tower that you can...More

Nice walk, nothing too challenging and the ruins on the castle are great for a few photos in some strange little hidey holes. Lovely view from the top! Nice for kids to run around the green area and a nice little stroll for all ages.

Enjoyed a nice walk round the ruins (what was left of them). Bet it is absolutely lovely in the summer! We went after a lot of heavy rain and snow, so it was very muddy!!
