The world renowned topiary garden is not to my taste, but reasonably interesting. The house has its interesting points, especially its links to Wellington. But the new catering facility cannot come soon enough. The food in the Bellingham Buttery was ok for its type but...More

Called in for tea, coffee and cake whilst walking, sadly their coffee machine was not working so they could only offer filter coffee which was just OK, nice cakes, cafe small and overlooking lots of building work. Will revisit when new cafe open.

It’s a lovely garden on a nice day, you can spend a good few hours walking round. The day we were there was not so nice. Rained quite a bit, waterproof shoes are a must lol

Visited here today and was amazed by the gardens and the hall was fantastic well worth a visit. The café served excellent scones couldn't believe they were £1.90 with jam and butter if you want cream they are £2.20, amazing value

My previous review praised the quality of the hot meals. Alas, no more. Cold food only, and a more limited menu. Levens are building a new restaurant, which seems irrelevant to the temperature of the food - the existing kitchen seemingly unaffected by the building...More

Thank you for your review. The Bellingham Buttery is still serving hot food, albeit it a more selective offering to what has been available previously. The new restaurant will open at the beginning of 2019, and we feel sure that you will enjoy all that...More

This garden is cute and it has lots of different shapes of grass & trees! It just made me think of the movie Edward Scissorhands. My friends and I had so much fun here, and we all enjoyed our visit very much.

You can buy tickets anytime you like online. They don't need to be printed and so showing them to our ticket kiosk attendant on your phone is totally fine. We look forward to seeing you soon
