Great to see original artwork and letters by Beatrix potter. As National Trust memebers we got in for free. Friendly staff. Its a small cramped property....some might find it difficult to get around.

Went there as NT members, not far from Hill Top, lovely village, lots of pubs and cafes. At the moment you have to take the the long way round until October until the car ferry is fixed

There was lots for young children to do , very interesting and educational, free to national trust members- cost is quite a lot otherwise

I’m not a huge Beatrix Potter fan (all those animals in clothes are a bit weird and I remember being very upset as a child when one if them got eaten by a Fox...) but she was actually far more interesting than I’d realised. Definitely...More

Having just visited the hill top house, disappointing to see that they then charge you again to enter this gallery. Perhaps a joint ticket or a discount offer would be an idea. £7.20 pp was overpriced, literally took us 15 minutes to see everything. Would...More

I agree. A pleasant winding drive to get there, but not a lot else to see.
