William Wordsworth attended this little grammar school in Hawkshead and there is a very pretty church up on the hill behind it. The town it cute and there are public footpaths to walk as well. Beautiful.

Our Lake District tour brought us to this quaint old town, Hawkeshead.
The town probably became famous because poet, William Wordsworth's primary school is located here. There is a guided tour available but due to lack of time we skip the tour.
