Popped in on an inclement late afternoon having visited the gingerbread shop. Beautifully maintained and thoughtful garden. As the title implies, I suspect you probably want to visit when the daffs are in bloom. Nice digression from the crowds.

Small memorial in churchyard to Wordsworth and his family and Daffodil garden are the romantic reasons for visiting this village

The garden was developed to help raise funds for the maintenance of the church next door. Wadsworth and his family are buried here among the wild daffodils, hydrangeas and many other perennials.

Nice little garden to sit and eat your gingerbread in (Gingerbread shop is just next door). It was nice but nothing spectacular so imagine you need to come see it in the Spring when the daffodils are out.

A beautiful walk, with chance to view the stepping stones etched with the names of those who had made donations. Peaceful and quiet, next to St Oswald's Church and the river. Complete with somewhere to sit, a lovely quiet place. No daffodils, but still enjoyable.

Very well kept gardens nice to walk in but nothing special. Maybe a difference when Daffodils are out.

Sadly daffodils were not out for our visit but it an interesting little garden. The path has been sponsored by people from all over the world, quite a nice way to fund these sort of places.
