Lots of stunning art and a very interesting family history. I shall read up more shortly. Nicely set out and something for all the family as there was stuff to encourage kids into art too

Any village with an art shop (artist’s materials) is perfect - this is a fab art shop and gallery visit every time we are in Grasmere.

Used to go inside to admire the art in the 1970’s and it is still a pleasure to view the art. The addition of the Cafe and art exhibition area make it even more of a pleasure to visit.
