Lovely short woodland walk. Sadly didn't see any red squirrels but it was quite busy when we were there. Lots of activities for younger children in the house.

I visit Allen Bank every year and have done so now for 4 years. Staff are always very polite and knowledgeable. Allen Bank itself is amazing.The views are spectacular and well worth a visit.

The house is currently being restored after a disastrous fire. It is currently a family friendly place to relax and enjoy the fine views of the fells and Grasmere

This National Trust property had suffered a severe fire and has been restored to plaster only walls however it has great history, views, a large tiered garden with good but steep paths and if you are lucky red squirrels and deer to be spotted. Lots...More
