We spent an hour here, the boys did pitch and put and the girls did putting. It was great fun! We all got good equipment and I thought it was a good location, right in the town centre in a small park. It was a great way to spend an hour or so and I would go back!

While on Holiday to the Lake District we visited Ambleside. What a beautiful village. Lots of quaint little shops and cafe's. Oh and of course we had to have a go at the crazy golf. I haven't played this in about 30 years. Well, what can I say, I laughed so much my cheeks were sore. My son is very... More

Located right in Town centre, you wouldn’t miss to see this. We had been here and spent good time here. This recreation park has things for all age I feel. You jog/ kids or adults golf/ kids has lot more activities. There are wooden fixed table and benches to sit and enjoy refreshments. Tempting fresh flavours in homemade ice-cream and... More

Our first ever visit, although driven through many times, is a nice open space, the Miller bridge car park is quite expensive @ £5.50 for 4 hours. The park has bowls, crazy golf, pitch and putt. Toilets at 20p a visit, (cheaper around the corner). Only food purchased at the kiosks can be eaten at the benches within the park,... More

Visited in early August 2016 with family and friends. We visit this site every year and have previously given it a 5 star rating, however, we were very disappointed this year. The grass on both the bowling green and pitch and putt is very overgrown, making golf almost impossible. When we informed management of this they ensured us that it... More

As two couples, whilst our two wives went shopping in Ambleside, we (the husbands) thought a session putting the world to rights in a park would suffice given the choice of that or further shopping! So we entered this park and as it was a warm sunny day thought an ice cream would make a good start to our visit.... More

Nice, well-kept place to do something different, we played "mini-golf" i.e. short pitch-and-putt. There was also crazy golf, a play area, putting green, tennis, bowls and boules courts.

Lovely little play park -although very small. A small climbing wall which is okay for smaller kids. Toilets cost 20p, however discovered that there are toilets in the bigger park round from the church which are free and clean. Had brought our picnic intending to play crazy golf, thought about the bowling for fun and the kids had a go... More
