Located in Hull, The Deep is an award winning aquarium home to 3,500 fish including green sawfish, spectacular sharks, rays and a colony of Gentoo penguins. Journey through the story of the world's oceans travelling through a unique blend of spectacular marine life from warm tropical waters to the cold Antarctic seas. Enjoy the fun and educational interactive and audio-visual presentations on your voyage of discovery. Highlights include daily dive shows and animal presentations where you can see our divers hand feed the animals. Join in with our fantastic touch pool sessions at Discovery Corner at the Lagoon of Light and learn about some of the smaller native species to the UK shores. Had a great day out at the deep with the grandchildren plenty of fish to see plenty of information and when they get hungry there is a cafe to take them to for something to eat

Really lovely lots to-do for the young ones.the parks a lot better then it wad with lots of different things to do. My granddaughter loes the animals..great for picnics lots of space to run around.

Just remember the place is very interesting and the fish are brilliant but it is meant for children so don't expect it to be quiet. Plenty of opportunity to see many types of fish clearly, really interestingplace.More

Excellent food. Well stocked and nice friendly staff. There are several different dishes from Chinese, Indian, Italian, English and numerous deserts.

If you're in Hull then this is a must. Wonderfully informative with great views of the marine life. A very interesting layout and don't miss out on the lift at the end of the trip. Very helpful staff.

The Deep is about a 20-25 minute walk from the train station, so hopefully this gives you a better indication as to whether this would be a suitable distance for your child to walk. There are public transport options... More
