Visited last Saturday, there was a food festival on which was very nice. The top end of the gardens where the flower displays and water fountain are are beautiful, however further down is pretty neglected due to the sheer amount of bird poo on all the paths, grass, benches etc and there were families and children playing near it and... Was here for the 'Place Des Anges' in June 2016. The gardens were spectacular and the organisation was great, Hull City Council do a brilliant job keeping these gardens, right in the city centre, looking lovely all year round.

I visited the Yum festival located at the heart of the city near the beautiful fountain and Queens Gardens.A very popular place for people to eat their lunch and enjoy the flowers. The festival was varied and busy with lots to see and taste

Queens gardens is gorgeous! It's a great place to relax in the sun or enjoy a coffee outside away from the concrete of the city centre. There's usually a lot going on around about and it's encouraging to see that the people of Hull keep it clean and tidy. One of my favourite spots on a sunny day.

The gardens were very nice to look at but were quite crowded when I visited. Good to spend a bit of time to rest and take photos ;-)

The gardens and flowers are very nice. It is a great place to walk around and relax, especially in the summer. During the summer, it is a nice place to have a picnic. I used to work near here, and during the summer we would regularly all go out and sit on Queen's Gardens.

Lovely peaceful area to wander through or sit in if weather is nice enough. Saw a pair of ducks - very sweet. Some 1960s features need binning and updating and the monument needs to be moved back to its original site. Also needs a cafe, loos, etc.
