First visit to the Trinity Theatre. A converted Church that is cosy and welcoming. We went to a comedy night. Tickets cost £11 each or £13 if you want food. There is a reasonably priced bar that is very well stocked. A pint of larger/beer is about £4 a bottle of wine £16 to £20. We sat at the very... More

It's a quirky theatre - in a church. So acoustics are amazing! I love it because it is local, it has a nice cafe and an art gallery. It has fantastic selection of films, theatre, ballet, comedy, talks. I used to live in London. In TBW now, with Trinity on my doorstep, I am not missing out an any culture... More

Whilst a valuable alternative to the dominance of the Odeon as a provider of both mainstream and alternative cinema, Trinity offers a lot more. A really friendly venue, interesting exhibitions in the gallery and a very reasonable bar and café. Of course live theatre, relayed theatre and comedy feature strongly. But for us it's the films that get us there... More

The theatre is built into a Decimus Burton designed church saved from the developers. There is a bar and coffee area. The stage is quite small, and the seats bank up to a balcony, and overall its a good use of the space. We saw the not-much-performed Measure for Measure performed by the Trinity theatre group. Overall excellent acting, although... More

The Trinity has an eclectic mix of entertainment that provides a real alternative to the more mainstream offerings appearing at the Assembly Hall. I have been to see comedians, bands, films and plays here and have never failed to enjoy my visit. There are a couple of things which make the Trinity stand out. Firstly, the seating runs right down... More

Trinity Theatre and Cafe/bar is a fantastic and convenient facility right in the centre of Tunbridge Wells. It offers Films, Live Theatre, Comedy, Comedy Cafe evenings, Music, Art exhibitions and live transmissions of events from the west End and beyond. 10.01.16 we went to see (a recording of) Kenneth Brannagh's production of A Winter's Tale at the Garrick Theatre with...
