For a brisk walk, you can't beat a walk around the lake at Dunorlan. Beautiful well-kept grounds, classical statues and temple, boats on the lake and families enjoying the fresh air - and so close to the town centre, too.

This has everything! Parkland, formal gardens, nature playground, cafe, lake, boats, ducks, fountain and paths for small people's bike & scooters. And it's not too big for little feet either!

Dunorlan Park is beautiful with a large lake incorporating small island havens for birds, boating for visitors and a children's playground. Beyond the formal areas are open fields with great walks for dogs. The park is always busy, summer or winter.

Our lives currently centre around exhausting our toddler out at safe places so it's easy to give this park 5/5. The lake was fun to run around, the ducks were fascinating and the few pieces of play equipment enough for him, especially the dragon carved...More
