If you want to go to the seaside as in the olden, times then Ramsgate Beach is the place. From the sea the Vista has not changed very much over many decades. The harbour is the main attraction and is very picturesque. The beach itself...More

Close to home, it's always a great feeling knowing your favourite beach is right on your doorstep. Love the sands of ramsgate beach.

Long, sandy and clean beach with cafes and seaside shops nearby (but not on the beach). The sea had a little rubbish in it but it could have come from the shore and it was still OK for swimming. There isn't any parking nearby which...More

This sandy beach stretches for miles, not over crowded and ideal for families with children. You will probably get sand in your picnic but that's a part of the fun! Dog friendly on certain parts and times.

The beach is lovely but be aware of tides! I walked in my wellies and enjoyed the sound of waves and wind.

This beach was minutes from our hotel so ideally located. It was clean, and there are toilets close by. We spent most days on this beach even when a bit cloudy and our young children were kept amused

Lovely sands. Great activities in the summer. Close enough to pavement to not be too sticky but far enough to enjoy the full sandy toes experience to get to the shore
