A wonderful little place that is tucked out of the way between the White Cliffs and the sea. We had a lovely walk along the footpath next to the cliffs and and along the sea wall. There is a nice little cafe, next to the car parkwhere we bought ice cream. It sold hot and cold drinks, soup etc. it... More

Always a joy to visit in any season. The rangers are very knowledgeable and helpful. Spectacular cliffs and sea views. Interesting wildlife.

Peace and quiet. Wonderful walks, flora and fauna. Saw the early spider orchids today. The rangers are always so helpful, and the little refreshment kiosk is excellent. Samphire Hoe is a really special place.

After reading the reviews we thought we'd better give it a go as we were passing..... let down big time. Don't see the raving reviews points at all. Would not recommend.

A lovely place to visit on a nice day. Rather chilly when the wind blow!! If you have a dog it is beautiful to just walk and watch the wild life and boats going past. The little snack bar is pleasant because of the nice staff serving you. Well worth a visit.

No matter what the weather is doing this is a great place for an hours stroll and with a kiosk serving a very good hot chocolate at the end it gets even better.

Have been here many times. Very relaxing to stroll along the seafront under the cliffs or along the sea wall. Great for dog walks too. Tom Hardy recently filmed the Sky advert here, so must be good!

My girlfriend and I visited Samphire Hoe for a walk and fresh air, and were disappointed to find the sea front promenade was closed although the weather was reasonable. There are some lovely views but including the surrounding cliffs.

Whenever we visit samphire hoe we love it. You will drive down through a steep tunnel and it will feel like you have left the rest of the world at the top of the cliff. It is so peaceful and if you go to the right when you make your way down the slop and turn to the right. Right... More
