The Christ Church Gate is the entrace way to Canterbury Cathedral. A very impressive work of art with ornate statues and carvings. Lots of students congregate next to the gate at the Canterbury War Memorial in Buttermarket Square

A very grand entrance into the cathedral. The statute on the outside guards the way in. This gatehouse holds the ticket booth, so you'll see it on your way into the cathedral. But free to view for all.

This is a free attraction which you can see from the street. Located at the entrance to the Cathedral this very impressive architectural feature has many carvings and is so well preserved.

This is where you buy tickets to get into the cathedral. It's a beautiful entrance to the historical site.
