This was my first visit to the Marlowe since it was rebuilt/redesigned. Very attractive building, spacious layout. Staff polite and helpful. I was on first row of rear stalls and so lots of leg room. Seat however did become a little uncomfortable after first hour...More

I have seen a few productions at the Marlowe and can assure you it is a world class venue for theatre lovers. Drama, musicals, comedy all of a very high standard and good facilities there as well

Had my first visit to the Marlowe theatre with some colleagues. We saw grease. They put on a good show. The only annoyance was when people stood up to have a little dance/sing along these security guards would start flashing at them with their torches...More

Absolutely love coming to the Marlowe for the yearly pantomime. It's fantastic for all the family. The only downside is the ticket prices and the fact I have to pay adult prices for my 3yr old.

I know they work hard to sing dance and act, but I paid £40 and even at £10 it would have been poor. Sorry but it was badly choreographed. The actors were second rate. However, The band were amazing. I won’t be visiting the Marlowe...More

Would I wish to visit a theatre again where on two occasions now tickets not been checked prior to entrance? Shows may be good but evidence of staff and security dire!
